OK, I’m about to make a lot of Oakville fans angry, but here goes. What the hell is wrong with you Oakville fans, For the past six years you have been blessed with one of the best teams in the league and with one of the classiest and most dedicated owners, yet every game that I have attended at Joshua’s Creek arena these playoffs (and I have been at a lot) there have been more fans there for the visiting team than for the home team.

Wellington comes to Oakville with a full busload and then some. I hear that they may have two busloads for tonight’s game. What does Oakville have going to Wellington? Well in game one the Oakville bus had a grand total of 15 and three of us are not Oakville fans (we are now that Milton has been eliminated) There were less than 30 Oakville fans at the first game in Wellington. Last night’s game was even worse. There was such a poor response for a seat on the bus we end up going in the Oakville Blades van and there were only 5 in the van. What is really sad is that there were only 10 Oakville fans in Wellington last night.

Come on, aren’t you Oakville fans just a bit embarrassed that a fan from MILTON is calling you out on this. If you are, put your money where your mouth is and get out to the game in Wellington on Sunday, no excuses, you don’t see wellington fans making any.

I offer my apologies to the Oakville ownership, staff, and core of very dedicated volunteers, this was not meant for you, your commitment cannot be questioned,

you put a winner on the ice year after year and the local residents couldn't care less.too bad but its just not going to change. is there any teams in the gta that get support? maybe a five dollar ticket would help in these times who knows..too bad for the blades players and owners as they both could use the support!!!

maybe for oakville fans it isnt practical to drive to wellington or pay 35 bucks to take a bus there. as far as home attendance goes their numbers are respectable especially for a team in the GTA.

for huntsville it has been lower attendance for games with the vees i think due to the fact that nobody knows who kingston is.

the orangeville series saw some great attendance numbers but we have yet to break 700 for the semi-final.

i hope that tomorrow night at the JACK its packed for the return of the one and only corey george. im sure him and whitelaw will put on quite a show.
