The Voyageurs got past the Otters 4-3 in overtime to advance to the final on a goal from Hamilton native Kevin Christmas, his first of the playoffs, just over three minutes into the extra time. Mike Farrell got two overtime goals for the winners and also added an assist. Huntsville led 3-1 on Justin Dicks' unassisted goal early in the second but the visitors responded two minutes later with Farrell's first and he scored again two minutes into the third to set up the overtime. Brock Higgs, with his nineteenth, scored the first Kingston marker. Dane Horvat and Phil Moreau scored the other goals for the Otters. Shawn Sirman stopped three dozen shots for the win. Now the Vees await the winner of the Oakville and Wellington series with the next game in Wellington tomorrow night at 6.30 p.m.

Wow I figured that Huntsville would have been one of the representatives in the OPJAHL Final this year! So ends the run of a couple of very dear friends (Barb and Charlie Hanman, formerly of Georgetown) who are dedicated supporters of the Otters!
