For those unaware or who are looking for some hockey to watch Sunday, you might want to head to Central Arena in Burlington for the medal games at Ontario Midget Championships.
Today, Oakville defeated Burlington 5-0 and the Hamilton Reps won 8-4 over Sault Ste. Marie.
This sets up the medal games tomorrow.
Bronze 10 AM - Burlington versus Sault Ste Marie
Gold 12:45 PM - Hamilton vs. Oakville (winner goes to the Nationals)
With potentially the top 3 midget teams in the province from one small geographic area, it should result in a bright future for the OJHL McKinnon teams in the next few years.
