It was craigshaw who called that one. Blackburn has not been the player he was through the season in this playoffs.

That goal, last night, may have been a huge weight off his back.

He is working hard but the things he did so well during the season. His work along the offensive boards, quick release of shot and improved defensive zone play have not been on display as they were in the regular season.

Jeff Blackburn is a last year junior and he has much more to contribute before this thing is done.

Watch for it. I hope he reads the forum, too Craigshaw . wink.gif

Wayne, does Blackburn have a grandfather that played Junior "A" in the 50's? I played against a Blackburn whose name I think was Don.

There was a John Blackburn who coached the Panthers many years ago, any relation there?

realations....that is.

Don Blackburn played in the NHL. He is not related to Jeff Blackburn of the Vees, SMC .

And John Blackburn, former coach of Pickering? Not related, as far as I know, Sharpie .
