Ok so having seen these I gotta wonder one what McAlister was thinking. Not smart on his part. Its I mean he acts like a tough guy from what I have seen but if you are going to drop them like a tough guy then well make sure you dont get dummied like that. Wow.

Second, Farrell deserved it. Went way to low very late. Did he spit? I have never seen a mouth guard fall out like that.

Third, Latchford...**** is your gonna swing your stick like that wow. He deserved it too. Only decent thing here was a fight between Simms and McAlister. I think the other two were kind of cheap shots by two guys who clearly weren't thinking.

Spit his mouth guard out so he could talk in a much more clear manner.

Latchford is going to have a pretty good season. Solid form and a great follow through. Of course if he was practicing for baseball he is screwed.

If Farrel was attempting to spit he would have spit after getting rid of the mouth piece.

I hear ya Matty B but as has been said before, we aren't going to whine about it in our corner. After all we aren't from Wellington happy.gif

Although I don't agree that Latchford shouldn't see extra discipline for the stick swing it is onto Game 6 tomorrow night in Kingston in what up until now has been a great series.

There had better be some suspensions from Mr. Ladds so he can determine this series like he did the Kingston/Huntsville series.......what's everybody think......I think NOT!!!!!

Latchford is nothing but a **** disturber...he interferes with Goalies from Sept-present, he is a dirty as they come

As for McCallister, 5'6" 150lb. Ronnie George from Huntsville, a one punched knock out......I guess tough guy is not really a very good description of him.

I think the higher ups have already have too much impact in the semi finals. As much as the actions by the Kingston players were wrong it is time to let the refs deal with it on the ice and let the players play the game.

The only suspension that will come of this will be the automatic suspension to Sparks.

I agree with you, you'd think in semi final/final games you'd put your most competent refs in, and let them call the game based on what happened that game, the boardroom calls it based on everything BUT, that game. To bad

"the automatic suspension to Sparks"

What did Sparks do?

The only automatic suspension that I see is to Farris, did I miss something to Sparks?

You nailed it again, Craigshaw .

Whether your team wins or loses, there isn't any more respect for McQuigge that he can possibly earn more.

It really has to make one wonder where the league's collective heads are.

This is a final series and it deserves to have the best possible officials the league can offer.

That was not the case last night, with all due respect, to the officials who did do the game.

You are right on Craig but unfortunately McQuigge works both the O and our league and with the O's playoffs running Sean is in high demand there as well ....seems he has a great rep just about everywhere he goes ....he's a great guy that has alot of respect from both the player and coaches alike ...and I've even heard fans cheer when they see him hit the ice ...Maybe the league needs to rate their officals like the NHL that way only the highest rated officals work the playoffs and the field narrows as the demand for officals weans...voted by the GM's ...

Maybe the leagues officals are refusing to take assignments with all the boardroom officiating that has gone on in recent weeks and they are at the point of taking whoever they can get LOL

very true insight suds i never thought of that. it will be interesting next season to see if they have a hard time with refs because of the politics that have occured in the playoffs.

Hey guys you are forgetting one important thing.

Yesterday was Easter Sunday, probably the refs with the most seniority get their choice on holidays such as Easter. Maybe McQuigge, to name one, chose to not work on Easter Sunday in order to be with his family, or his religious committment was a priority.

I would have probably made the same choice.

Just a possibility IMO.
