Imagine this. An hour and a half before game time at 1930 hrs at Joshua's Creek.
Outside the rink, I am standing there talking to RBC of In the Cage. Along comes Camron of By the Fans. Then comes Musicman of the Cage.
Now it's a four man circle and along come Thayward of the Cage. Now it is five.
I am meeting Tony Hayward of In The Cage With Tigerpaws for the first time.
After five long years, I finally get to meet Tony and it's like we are old friends renewing acquiantances.
Great to talk to you , Tony.
And of course, to my much respected friends from Oakville RBC , Musicman and CCBlake and my old buddy. The one who cheers for the wrong team, the Oakville Blades. Camron ,even though both Kingston and his Lindsay Muskies are cousins in the same Ruddock Division.
Truthfully. It really does not matter what team you cheer for. It truly is a blast to meet some of the forums' faithful, face to face, after reading so many of their posts over the years. Nothing like meeting hockey fans who all share that common interest, this league and its' players and teams.
It's like an old home-coming. It is what the forums are really all about, is it not?

Ron. I would love to see you in Kingston in game six.
Take the Oakville bus down. It's great value and all it takes is a little of your time.
It seems to me the Oakville organization has bent over backwards for their fans and those fans in West. A real comfy bus in a coach, a willingness to pick up passengers along the way and a bargain-basement price.
Kingston and most others, should be so lucky.

Re: "I am meeting Tony Hayward of In The Cage With Tigerpaws for the first time. After five long years, I finally get to meet Tony and it's like we are old friends renewing acquiantances" ... Holy crap Wayjoy, I could only wish for this kind of greeting at home! (teehee)
It's more like oh here's dad home again! As if to say big deal, nice of you to come back! (lol)
But seriously Wayne, it's true what you say that "It really does not matter what team you cheer for. It truly is a blast to meet some of the forums' faithful, face to face, after reading so many of their posts over the years. Nothing like meeting hockey fans who all share that common interest, this league and its' players and teams" ...
Last nights game was very exciting and I was very very impressed with Kingstons neutral zone speed and exceptional transition game! There were a few instances early on where the Blades were getting caught on lethergic line changes as Kingston flew through the neutral zone unscathed!
As the game wore on however, the Blades seem to adjust and take action by making much more efficient shift changes. As Oakville opened up the game and their lead, Kingston deviated away from their game of speed and transition and began to show signs of frustration.
This was the point where the Blades took complete control and advantage of Kingstons meltdown! The officiating was less than spectacular for both teams as several missed calls were evident to us fans, as well as the missed penalties on several multi player scrums after the whistle!
Two great teams deserve great officiating (i.e. Paolini, McBryde, Roberts and the always reliable McQuigge) and last nights "spectacle" that Bain and Munroe called was just that ..... a "spectacle"!
How many times have we bantered on these forums that the best officiating is when we fans can't remember any specific incident, or even who refereed the damn game? Last night Bain was sh%t scared to make a call (or so it seemed) and Munroe had worn out the pea in his whistle! (teehee)
I don't know how many times last night that the play was deep in the zone where Bain was the deep man, closest to the infraction and Munroe was forced into having to make EVERY damn call! C'mon guys, get your heads into the game and get on the same page!
Last nights performance was pathetic by both of you! We fans deserve more than that, and more importantly so do these two talented teams!
Here's last nights game summary:

A friend is someone that doesn't always agree with you but still likes you anyway.
A friend is someone you can share things with that you probably wouldn't share with others.
My Friend Wayjoy.
