Well, Well, Well .... Isn't That Interesting?

After receiving a couple of valid I.P. address locators from the beautiful, reliable Ms. CCBlake and trying my own I.P. address, which accurately confirmed our provider (Cogeco) and detailed geographic location, I was able to confirm that our "friends" barnsdale and Raider_nation are anything but Georgetown or Oakville residents! (teehee)

Raider_nation (IP 216.221.73.173) is none other than ...... drum roll please ....... a Kingston resident!

So far as barnsdale is concerned, he resides (or at least his computer does, lol) in Hamilton! (IP 207.210.61.246). I know this to be true because after inputing my own I.P. it confirmed that Georgetown is the origin of my IP, and that Cogeco is our provider go figure? (teehee)

So, for those who asked the other night, no barnsdale and Raider_nation are not one in the same! Unless of course they just happen to live in Georgetown and work in Kingston, or vise versa and has access to the forum while at home and at work (which I highly doubt).

A more plausible consideration is that it may very well be none other than ...... Mav! A former resident of Georgetown and now spending his time in Kingstons Big House! (teehee)

Well no wonder he disapears for long periods of time. The guards probably catch him providing favours and he gets sent to solitary...

... Gee now let me see here "fairholt". Considering that myself and at least two other dweebs have been participating on this forum now well into our seventh year, you as a relatively new visitor to "The Cage" sure as hell don't mind me ..... "sticking my nose in were it doesn't belong.Teehee" .... and moderating this damn site to ensure its integrity/existence so that we can keep this thing going right?

But the freakin' minute we expose those who are tinkinkering with Network54's guidelines and the potential future of the forum by slandering other forum goers, teams within the league or ownerships, all of a sudden I'm ..... "sticking my nose in were it doesn't belong.Teehee" ....

Give your head a shake would you please "fairholt"? If you don't like it here .... Then LEAVE! This forum has survived one hell of alot longer than you've been around, or more likely will stay around, I can promise you that much!

We've observed a few generations of players and their families come and go, and we'll no doubt see several more! We've also had our share of anonymous, tree hugging, self righteous snakes in the grass who offer such courageous remarks as "sticking his nose in were it doesn't belong" ... but do so from the comforts of the sidelines with a login such as "fairholt"!

Grow a pair "fairholt" and then maybe (although I highly doubt it very much, teehee) I'll consider your inputs! Otherwise please excuse me if I ignore your anonymous/cowardly daggers will you? teehee ....

206.53.153.110 - by login: fairholt

Our NEW friend "fairholt" another little courageous "anon" just happens to be posting us from         none other than

Country: Canada ca.png
State/Region: ON
City: Waterloo
Latitude: 43.4667
Longitude: -80.5333

Should I bother posting your employers name that may be somewhat pissed at you for posting on some stupid internet chat line from his account? Really, I don't iMagine that he/they would appreciate that do you "fairholt"? Tee-phuking-Hee

Now maybe you'll mind your own business huh? Either that or have the courage to reveal your  identity when challenging the time and effort that the rest of us have put forth in promoting this excellent brand of hockey and the young men who play in this league! So get lost!

Your dislike for me means squat when I don't even know who you are "fairholt", now get back to work would ya? (teehee)

Just ot of curiosity "fairholt", why would you participate on a stupid, no nothing forum that apparently no one visits if you have such "dislike" for its moderator?

If you "dislike" me so much (that's seems strange considering that you don't even know me) and we're not really bothered whether you're here or not, why would you punish yourself by allowing someone who you admitedly "dislike", the opportunity to rent space in your pee-brain?

Gee I wonder if I'll be able to sleep tonight knowing that some anonymous coward in Waterloo "dislikes" me so much? Somehow I think I'll manage? teehee

If you care to drop me a line sometime "fairholt" to thayward13@cogeco.ca we can take our little meaningless spat offline and stop wasting everyone elses time on here, how's that?

If you don't like me (this is going to require more councelling folks, teehee) or this forum, and we don't particularly care about you, how about we hug and go our separate ways "fairholt"? If you find it difficult to pull away, I can assist you by blocking your IP address if you wish?

That way we won't be interfering with your very important life! I'm only thinking and looking out for what's best for you "fairholt"! (teehee)

Jim Balsillie would be a supporter of this forum I am certain....

What do you think Fairholt? Might even like Tony's initiative, his desire to see things right and his no nonsense approach versus someone hiding within the confines of a cubicle disliking a junior hockey forum moderator! And on someone else's dime for that matter!!!

I say Wexdog gets banned he clearly despises pretty much all of us here....or anyone with an affection for a Non Central or certainly WESTern based team...it appears his only real thoughts are negative on this side anyway....who needs it?

His opinions are blantantly biased

I say ban the dog!!

LOL

hey tony, instead of picking and choosing IP's to post, why not just turn it on in the forum so that all IPs are shown? wouldnt that cut down on the "multiple logins" problem and phantom writers? i think by arbitrarily showing one or two (or more IPs) of your own choosing and your own purposes you may be exposing yourself to litigation on privacy issues. however if the expectation is all IPs are shown when you post, then its not a breach. seriously consider it. i for one would LOVE to help weed out the "attackfan" types that have 10 logins and cross-post and talk to themselves.

With regards to Puckmasters suggestion to "turn it on in the forum so that all IPs are shown". We had a poll a couple of years ago with that option as a possibility, but the overwhelming majority chose not to display I.P.'s, yet favored a representable login as opposed to every thread having an "anonymous" author.

Thanks for the suggestion however PM87, greatly appreciated!

Hey PM, some of us actually do have something to hide.

Personally, I'm hiding from the cops in three counties in Ontario and one RCMP detatchment out west. wink.gif And JPM and Sharpie.

(Not to mention, on a serious note, I am a single female and don't particularly want anyone to know where I live for my own safety.)

It's hilarious dekem, when the 'Dog grabs hold of a topic he knows isn't favorable with/to others he automatically swings his sails around just to create a litle controversy! For instance his love in with/for the Central! Many of us actually find the concept an attractive alternative to what's been going on in the past few seasons.

It's just HOW it was implemented that so many of us informed fans have a problem with, that's all! But with Wexdog, you MUST be an unconditional fan of the Central or get lost! No grey area, it's just black or it's white with Wexdog! And in this particular instance the Central is the ONLY way to go!

Yeah, well it would have been nice to consider the inputs of ALL thirty six teams prior to doing so!

I've got to tell you though "dekem" that Wex is my hero for his pristine convictions (teehee) .... "For the record I have never nor will I ever expose anyone using information I am privey to. I will never ever track anyone or use tracking software" .... yeahhhhh ... you're my hero Wexdog!

You see "dekem" while Wexdog continues to rag my ass about the operation of this forum by randomly displaying the I.P.'s of participants who jeopardize "OUR" forums future by toying with Network54's faitly liberal guidelines, the nazi (TYPE) antics of Wexdog, where at HIS sole discretion just blocks anyone who doesn't share in his ideals!

It's quite alright that he doesn't like us "dekem", because that means that the rest of us have a sliver more common sense than Wexdog! lol.

My point exactly. When I do anything remotely close to this i hear about it. Tony does it and everyone laughs. Laughs because it is not you, but tomorrow will it be you.

For the record i have never nor will I ever expose anyone using information I am privey to. I will never ever track anyone or use tracking software.
