In their first game at the Royal Bank Cup Kingston lost 5-0 to the host Victoria Grizzlies. Victoria had lost their first game to the Humboldt Broncos. The Vees could only muster 21 shots on Victoria goalie Anthony Grieco while Shawn Sirman stopped 35 of 40 in the Kingston net. Jeff Forsythe led Victoria with a pair of goals. This afternoon, 2 p.m. Pacific time, there will be a big game for the Vees as they go up against the Summerside Western Capitals who are also 0 and 1.
