Durant is a AA minor hockey coach who was given a junior coaching position by the owner so to take care of his son and the sons of a certain few people. The Ajax season ended in a catastrophy with a 16-3 loss in the Sanderson Cup as well as wipeouts at the hands of Lindsay. It showed that Durant could not prepare his team mentally and icewise in key games at the end. The players were tuning him out. Ask me at the end of next year if he's a good coach. We will see. We don't need his cronies coming on here and telling people that a coach who loses an important game 16-3 should be going to the OHL.

And yet, under Carey Durant, the team set a record for wins in a season by an Ajax Jr. A team, and was the first in Ajax Jr. A history to win a playoff round. I can see why rippedskate doesn't like Carey as a coach...what a bastard, coaching a winning team in Ajax. How dare he.

Wingfan is absolutely correct. Without David Jenkins this Ajax team is the same as the old teams. Besides Sharpie,any owner after Labelle should make the team look good. Like I said, lets give Cary another year before he goes to the OHL. If he beats the Fury 16-3 then I will personally take Cary out for dinner with Tony Hayward. And Sharpie, your also invited.
