Former Bramalea Blue goaltender Nathan Marsters was killed in a single vehicle accident last night while driving in his pickup truck on HWY 20 in West Lincoln. The 29 year old Marsters collided with a deer which came through the windshield and took Nathan's life instantly.

Nathan Marster's left the OPJHL for RPI and then moved on to play several years of minor pro hockey. Back in 2000, Marsters was a 5th round pick of the LA Kings and later spent time with the Anahiem Ducks organization.

We offer our condolences to the Marsters' family of Grimsby. May Nathan rest in peace.

I saw this on the news - didn't realize he was one of ours. Terrible news for the family and the hockey community.

Thoughts are with his family and friends.

rest in peace.

Damn!!! We lost a real good one. Nate was very highly respected in the Ontario Jr. ranks, the NCAA (RPI) and beyond. This is very sad news.
