Well it was fast paced hockey but wow the Vets showed up with a 17-1 win over the Prospects tonight,even with the score as it was some prospects showed they can play at the junior level.

it wasnt really a fair fight in this one. this was the ajax vets against the few kids who might make the squad and the rest of the midgets from ajax - not pickering which is half their team.
NOW i will say that there are a few junior teams that would have a hard time topping a midget team. ajax showed tonight that they are a level above the midget ranks in their area. not to long ago that wasnt the case for them.
personally i wish the game was a split squad with vets and prospects on each side. we would get a better feel of which players had it and who didnt.

i dont think what was done to the players of ajax last year for the second round of the playoffs showed a lot of integrity at all. it was the complete opposite. sharpie will work his tail off and i hope make ajax a better place to see a game but dont kid yourself...its all about 1 kid!!!!!

I have to agree with wingman, not a lot of integrity shown last year. People with integrity do whats best for the Team......TEAM..........TEAM...........TEAM........
Its really about 2 kids. Get the parents and their cronies off the bench.

at this level no parent should have a kid on the team. even if the dad does everything right and the player is good enough to be there it raises too many questions from everyone around them and that takes away from the team. it doesnt build it. if the son is a weaker player then all hell can break loose in the room and with the parents.
as for this game it was brutal and a huge dissapointment. hopefully the season wont be.
