i heard that stein always wanted a team closer to his car dealerships to maximize his sponsorship advertising dollars. it makes a lot of sense and cant be any worse than the fan support he has had in ajax.
smart move if it is true.

Not likely. Someone trying to stir the pot with false rumours.

im with sharpie on this one i doubt it would happen.

but it would make sence for the league and the ajax owners to move them elsewhere. ajax and pickering have one aaa program yet two junior teams. that doesnt make much sence at all.

whitby has a strong aaa program so having a junior team makes sence. with ajax and pickering sharing aaa programs they should probably have one junior team to feed to.

the rinks are so close together its not that it would cause any travelling problems for fans or players etc.

To tell the truth, a more likely scenario I could see down the road would be that some community-based owner comes in and buys both teams, and merges them. It's what I would do if I had the money. It makes sense, but I can't see it happening in the foreseeable future until at least all of the OHA turmoil settles. And it certainly won't happen with the current ownership of either team.

What i hear is that the NEW part Owner with 49% of the club and 51% Owne Robert Stien, agreed to move the club North of Toronto for the 2010-2011 season and this is from very good close information in the town of Ajax.

Actually, I should have stated that that last post is my opinion. I do not have any definitive information on this.

And now I have it on good authority, 100% that this rumour is completely false and should be ignored.

Who the heck is Steve Paris? The mayor of Ajax is Steve Parrish. You make yourself look foolish when you try to back yourself up with lies while not even getting a person's name right.
