Very true "Wing" but remember the Crushers were part of the OJAHL last season.

It's the original 8 that I like to "raze".

Tigers (OJAHL) 12 Stouffville (CCHL) 6 - (2 games)

The 2 games coming up this weekend with the Canes are going to be very interesting.

SMC we should be more humble.
After all Hamilton did beat Oakville 5-3 with a handful of vets while Oakville dressed the majority of their team.

I believe the top teams in the Central like Hamilton, Wellington, Newmarket would give any team including Aurora a handful and yes perhaps even beat us.

I agree Hamilton looks strong, don't know how strong yet, time will tell.

I don't think that Wellington will be as strong as last year after losing some 8/20 yr olds and now restricted to only 5/20 yr olds this season, however I'm sure that Marty will pull some surprises out of his hat. At this point one would have to say that they do not appear as strong but they will be contending for CCHL Championship honours come February.

I think Newmarket will not be as strong as last year, again because of their loss of some key players, especially Jason Guy to mention one, and the added age restrictions that they have to face. The Tigers will find out this weekend where they fall with regards to Newmarket, after facing the Canes twice, Thursday in Newmarket and Friday in Aurora.

Add St Mikes to the mx, and I think the main CCHL teams this season will be Wellington, Hamilton, Orangeville and the Buzzers. I'll reserve on the Canes till after this weekend, I don't see much outside of that, but then I have known to be wrong before. LOL

Just to clarify, the Oakville Hamilton game.
It was Oakville who dressed one returning player.
Hamilton had a number of returning players in the lineup.

actually I was at the game and spoke to several parents that I know and I was told many of the Oakville kids were dressed for the game. Hamilton had many vets/signed players in the stands including both their goalies.
Hamilton won 5-3.
Regardless the rubber match is coming up on Wed at the Dave in Hamilton. Should be a good one.
Come out and judge for yourself I know I cant wait.
Who won tonight Hamilton or Streetsville?

I didn't say there wern't Oakville kids in the game. There was three kids that played for the Oakville Midget team in the game. There were kids that have signed with Oakville in the game as well. But for the number of returning Oakville Blades that were in the game against Hamilton, 1. Now that will be very different Wed. Should be a great game. Yes I will be at that one as well. If you really care, compare the two game sheets after Wed. I think you will see a big difference in Oakville's two lineups.
