i'll summarize. bad officiating combined with a huge letdown results in 5-4 loss.

anybody have any insight into this official? i've nicknamed him "phantom black". i thought only the equally inept mr hancock could blow this many calls.

jlmfan, why the huge flip-flop on your assessment of the game?

Over on FTFBTF, you said that Lindsay got outworked, and even intimated that you didn't feel that Lindsay deserved to be up 4-1 when they were.

Now, on here, you start making excuses and slag the officiating.

Which is it?

no, i said it was a result of a letdown and being outworked. i just added officiating here as an afterthought - not an excuse. my apologies.

Fair enough. It just seemed like a fairly large contradiction in your game assessment. No problems.

i try not to go off on officials too much as it's my opinion that a team should adapt their game to the officiating. in this case however, and as i said, as an afterthought the officiating was if nothing else suspect.
