| CJHL TOP 15 RANKINGS

The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced today its Weekly Top 15 rankings for the 2009-2010 season. The Pre-Season rankings and the leagues in which the teams belong to are in parenthesis.
The CJHL Weekly Top 15 as of Monday, September 21st
1. (1) Vernon Vipers (BCHL)
2. (4) Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL)
3. (2) Humboldt Broncos (SJHL)
4. (9) Pembroke Lumber Kings (CJHL)
5. (HM) Penticton Vees (BCHL)
6. (7) Salmon Arm Silverbacks (BCHL)
7. (HM) Dauphin Kings (MJHL)
8. (10) Brooks Bandits (AJHL)
9. (3) Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL)
10. (8) Kingston Voyageurs (OJAHL)
11. (NR) Burlington Cougars (CCHL)
12. (12) Truro Bearcats (MJAHL)
13. (13) North Bay Trappers (NOJHL)
14. (14) Fort William North Stars (SIJHL)
15. (NR) Les Pantheres de Saint-Jerome (LHJAAA)
Honorable mention goes to the Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL), Weyburn Red Wings (SJHL), Winnipeg South Blues (MJHL), Abitibi Eskimos (NOHL), Villanova Knights (OJAHL), Markham Waxers (CCHL), and the Newmarket Hurricanes (CCHL)
The rankings are based upon a variety of factors which includes the league in which the teams belong to, their winning percentage, their win-loss record, total points accumulated, their goals-for versus goals-against ratio, amongst other factors.
The CJHL is an amalgamation of ten Junior A hockey leagues from across Canada. More information on the CJHL can be found by clicking on the league website www.cjhlhockey.com

a lot of owners should take note of villanovas success.
if you really want to compete in this league just follow their model this year.
hire a reputable knowlegable hockey person and let him do his job.
give him the resources to do it and good things will happen.
congrats to barry rice and david arsenault for improving the level of play at villanova.
as i said in the summer..i will be out to watch them . last year i wouldn't bother!!

and not to georgetown, oakville, newmarket, aurora, or most other teams for that matter?
give credit where credit is due, to barry rice for bringing in experienced coaching and support staff, and for that staff to have the players buy into their system - thats really what it is all about.
