The Terriers, unbeaten in three games at home host the 5 and 1- not a misprint- Knights. Two top teams with the edge going to Couchiching 4-3.
The Blues of Collingwood are struggling mightily losing their first six contests and it gets harder as they go to Aurora. The Tigers have only played three games and win 6-2.

Collingwood had to win at some point....maybe now they will be able to turn this into a couple more. If not, (and even still) there will be a big shake-up.
Even if they had to do it against a shorthanded squad and their tender standing on his head, a win is a win and breaking a 6-game losing streak is hard thing to do.

I wasn't at the game, but my guess is that Jesse Hebscher is very frustrated, as I imagine just about everybody in the Panthers organization is so far.

is the clock ticking on Brady yet? None of this is his fault, at least 4 players are there because of owners..not a new story i know, but it's sad to watch a team fall like this.

While Aurora was mourning its loss to C'wood and a previous poster posited on Collingwood solid calibre of play. Given the crappy record it seem a little generous. Took a peek at the special team pointstreak page.
Collingwood has given up 87 power plays in 7 games. The rest are around 56 with some at 54. Collingwood's PP and penalty kill both rank 4th in the league. In the Aurora game they gave up 7 penalties in those last 5 minutes including 5-3s.
The story to this team is that it is young and experienced but not lacking talent. It also faced Kingston, Buffalo, Georgetown right up front in the schedule. If it stays out of the box it may also stay out of the basement.
Kingston shows well in the discipline dept with great PP and PK and giving up relatively few penalties. Class of the field.
Give up more than 5-7 PPs per game in this league you are going to be in trouble. Just ask C'wood. It is remarkable they have not been pounded even more. If they get to where PP and PK are about the same instead of the 2-1 they may actually show closer to the 4th ranking on those special teams they showed against the heavyweights in the league.
Unlikely but there's fun in those stats!

The Panthers are a joke, the owners and the GM are a even bigger joke. Pandovski thinks he has a #1 goalie well newsflash to him your goalie has a 6.28 GAA better start looking for another goalie, and its not your defences fault nothing they can do when shots just keeping going on from all over the rink. Half the players shouldn't be playing Jr.A but the owners want them there and then you've got to deal with the owners kid Porco who can barely skate and oh ya hes not allowed to be on the 4th line or be sit out figure that one out. I give that kid the award for worst hockey player ever! Sad sad times in panther land.

Agree the Panthers are in disarray...and probabaly half the team should be playing at a lower level but leave the poor Porco kid alone, his dad put him in a place he should not be but at least he tries to play hockey...meanwhile #2, #15, #25 all 'D' are running around out there trying to take opponents heads off, have no idea where the puck is or how to play defense, thus the goalie is left alone. #15 should be gone for quite a while after pushing a linesmen last night!

The panthers have some players that have the skill to make them a decent team.
IMHO, they need to start playing with some heart and play much more of a team game. They also need to show respect to the other teams and officials.
JH will probably get 8 games, maybe it will help the team.
The coach should re arrange the lines as they have very little chemistry between the players. The team stats tell it all.
