For all the Attack fans that wrote on here how the Attack would handle the Waxers with no problem......Humm what happened, a 9-4 thumping thats what happened and the Waxers are back on top again!

Interesting pointstreak observations from this game.

1) There was evidently no crew refereeing this game. Interesting...I guess the teams were on the honour system to call their own penalties.

2) Only one shot for each team in the first period. Must have been the most boring period of hockey ever if each team only got the one shot on which they scored.

3) 322 attendance? Not in Markham, I would wager a goodly portion of my worldly possessions.

4) A player got a minor for head checking but not the accompanying misconduct? Two players got fighting majors, but not the accompanying game misconduct? Must go back to that honour system listed in point 1.

What the hell? When did I say anything or do any "crying" about the game? My complaint was about the half-arsed job the pointstreak operator did. Why the hell don't you read my post before you rip on me for it?

I hope Cary doesn't lose his mind. I saw he stole John Winder's playbook by leaving Stein in net for all the goals. He does this one more time and old man Stein will blow his top. This thing is ready to fall apart.

I don't know that Carey did that, or if the PS operator dropped the ball as he or she did with all of the things I mentioned above. Anybody know?

Pointstreak coverage sucked big time....Sharpie,but have to hand it to the Attack for rebounding after a huge kick ass loss in Markham friday night, congrates to the Attack team on a good win!

First period shots were 7-5 for Ajax. It was NOT a pretty game at all. In fact, more than one observer at the game asked if I had inflated those shots.

Oh, and yes...the pointstreak coverage DID suck today. The internet connection was slow throughout the arena today, not even sure how the webcast went through. It took literally from the time the penalties were called with 9:09 left in the second until the Attack goal was scored at 2:53, to get the penalties all entered into PS, because every time I clicked on a button or pull down menu it took about 20 seconds for it to come up.

This is inaccurate. According to everyone I talked to on Sunday, Stein was only in net for seven Waxer goals. Two were empty net goals. Not noted on Pointstreak, but two empty netters for sure.

That last post was supposed to be in reply to HockeyDan's post that Stein was in net the whole game.
