Have you seen this player?
He's huge but can barely skate. Nice kid, but simply does not belong at this level.

This kid was playing his role, the role dictated by the coach on up. A reflection of this team and management. How pathetic

He also had a warm up violation misconduct to start the game.

The above poster has brought up a good point...does this player have to sit out his next two games with his minor hockey team because of the suspensions?

I think there was a lot of pent-up frustration from the entire game that went into this. Seguin was allowed to run Ajax players from behind by the referees all game long, and I heard Hancock tell an Ajax player who complained about being checked from behind, "So check them from behind." Also, a vicious cross check to the face by a Seguin player that drew a very unhealthy amount of blood was given only a double minor for high sticking because the referee deemed it to be "unintentional", even though the player skated about fifteen feet at the Ajax kid to make the cross check after the whistle.

Not that that excuses Bodanis for jumping the Seguin player like he did, but there was quite a bit of frustration on the team and in the stands.

How about Vipers call-up Phil Marinaccio: First game up he scores two goals. Second game he gets a goal and an assist.
