I have talked to Sharpie regarding the 50/50 alleged incident and believe me there is another side of the story, Sharpie's side that does makes sense.

Hopefully the whole thing will be resolved between Sharpie and the Whitby management.

Wow, go away for the weekend and you miss a major scandal.

Can someone tell me, without stepping on anyone's toes or crossing any lines that Tony has set out, what happened ? Or what allegedly happened ?

Okay guys here's the latest! After several pleas on my part to Sharpie, he offered a very detailed (lengthy, happy.gif lol) account of what had transpired with regards to the 50/50 draw. My personal observations after reading his concise explanation is that I believe that he was thrown under the bus!

Sharpie's details are good enough for me and I'm pleased that the right thing was done by removing any defamatory comments made against him. He offered a very detailed synopsis of exactly what had happened which I promised that I would NOT reveal on here, which I will honor!

Let me simply state that every detail of Sharpie's description of what had transpired is consistent with what he had originally stated. Now can we all please lay off with the comments directed towards him and invite/welcome him back to come and play "In The Cage" happy.gif .... Thank you!

Authorized Statement From Sharpie ...... And I Quote .....

..... "I want to make it clear that I hold no real hard feelings with Whitby over this. It hurt for a while getting railroaded by people I thought I could trust, but having had more than 100 emails from hockey people supporting me has really highlighted for me who my REAL friends in hockey are. Thank you to those on the forums who took the time to email me and get the full story, and anyone else who wants to hear about it, if I think you're sincere, I will certainly not shy away from telling my side of things. I wish Whitby the best in the finals, and really would love to see the young men on the ice (who obviously had nothing to do with this situation) earn a trip to Humboldt. Good luck, boys!"

Seriously, who cares. The guys a timekeeper with too much time on his hands; people couldn't care less. There's no chance he got over 100 emails of support. Nobody gives a crap. Move along and get a life.

The basic truth

How do you rig a 50/50 draw. Either the pot is skimmed or the winner is rigged.
Everyone who participates is complicent in fraud. Its up to an individual to go along even if it meant refusing . Its a question of choice.
Im not accusing Sharpie because I dont know if he was an active partipant
or just went along but it seems like he had a choice.

I am curious as to why Tony thinks that his opinion should be good enough for all of us - to come on here and tell us he has the facts and he has determined that all is well is nothing but arrogant.
