You identify as being in India and other fellows have observed on the sexual prudery and general ignorance there. (Not that America is to be honest, much better. happy.gif)

I think if you had not learned - if this was 30 years ago and no Internet - that your foreskin was supposed to retract, you would be none the wiser, and would easily spend your whole life never noticing the difference. It may not be or have been quite as good as having a normally mobile foreskin, but no worse than being circumcised!

Being concerned about discomfort during sex presumes that fellows whose foreskin pulls back "fully" and easily, or even those who are circumcised, cannot experience discomfort if they do the wrong thing. But that is of course, not true at all!
