| Hey all! First post here.
I'm twenty years old with a relatively mild but nonetheless frustrating case of phimosis...I'm able to retract almost fully while flaccid, the only thing in the way is (was) an extremely short frenulum. I got a frenuloplasty a few weeks ago but the doctor didn't perform it correctly (I think) and he left a bit of skin behind, which proceeded to grow a new frenulum...so I'm getting my second and hopefully last frenuloplasty tomorrow. But that is neither here nor there.
In addition to the frenulum, I have the aforementioned phimosis. When flaccid it's almost unnoticable, but when erect it definitely is...I can actually retract pretty far while erect, it's just really painful. I asked my urologist about it, and he said that he had great success with many patients doing something extremely simple, but something I'd never heard of before either - using a blow dryer.
He said that by blow drying the phimotic area for a few seconds twice a day, in the morning and evening, would counter the fungus the he said causes the phimotic ring and essentially get rid of my dilemma. He said that it isn't permanent though, and that I would simply have to integrate it into my daily lifestyle. So has anyone tried this method before?
I've already started stretching the ring a little everyday, but the skin is really sensitive, cracked and dry due to me pulling on the skin too hard a few days ago. As such, I think I'm gonna take a break from the stretching for a few days to let it heal, but I thought I'd give the blow dryer thing a shot while doing so. I was just curious if anyone's heard of this, is all. |

Nope, I've never heard of it. I hope you don't get that thing too close to your penis, or you'll get more than you bargained for.
I recommend that you try an over-the-counter preparation to combat the yeast. Any product designed for women will work. Apply to the inner foreskin area. |
