I am new here

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am new here and Im sure I can find answers somewhere at this forum... as I am sure I have found the right place.
I am 23, and about 4 days ago I have just found out that a non cut penis can be pulled behind the head of the Penis (the foreskin that is).
I never knew this. I remember in my teenage years about 'attempting' to stretch the foreskin but I thought no more of it because I then understood what a circumcised penis was.
I assumed that a cut penis meant that the foreskin was removed, meaning you could see the head of the penis. An uncut penis is where you have the foreskin, but could pull down to a certain degree.... but not far (certainly nowhere near pass the head of the penis). So I basically thought all penises I saw where the head (gland) was visible I beleived was a cut penis.
4 days ago, I was on the health site and did some reading on the penis and came across two pictures. One was a cut penis and another was uncut. The uncut penis baffled me!!! The foreskin was pulled back and I was convinced that the website made a mistake. "Thats a circumcised penis!"
After more research, I found out I actually fall into the 'tight foreskin', or what I believe is called Phimosis. I never thought I had this problem because I thought it meant that your foreskin is sooooooo tight that you couldnt even go for a pee... meaning getting cut was the answer.
I wouldnt say I have had big problems with sex because I have always used a condom. However, when the girl is on top (controlling the movements), I do find it difficult to take. I am convinced that sex without a condom would be horrible for me unless I lubricate every few minutes.
I dont want to get my penis cut. I dont agree in doing that and thats where I stumbled across 'stretching'.
I do have big trouble pulling the skin back. Not just when erect, but placcid too. Also, I have tried grabbing the end of the foreskin so I can stretch it, but it is so tight I cannot hold it with my fingers or atleast get a good grip.
I have heard of a product called 'glansie', a device to help stretch the forekin. Does anyone recommend this or is it a scam and a waste of money?
If there is any more advice for me I would be very grateful.
Thanks to anyone that has the time to read this.

Glansie August 16 2006, 12:39 PM
The people who peddle the Glansie have had ads on this site from time to time. Since I have no control over advertising matter, the fact that their ads appear here is not an endorsment from me.
I think the idea behind the Glansie is sound. However, I have no idea if it works. If you were to invest in one, I'd say you're taking a risk. Do you have money for a risk? If so, the cost is the only loss. If it works, it was worth a try.
Do you have any overhang when flaccid? Can you pull the foreskin at all? I can't imagine that you wouldn't be able to grip something on the end unless you don't a big change in length and girth upon erection. Are you attempting to stretch while flaccid?
You could try using a device of less cost. From time to time, we advise using something such as cap from a ball point pen as wedge to keep the foreskin orifice open. As tension on the skin causes it to relax, you use devices of increasing diameter to increase the tension. If you choose to try this, use common sense. All edges must be smooth. You should suffer no pain. If there is brusing, back off. Don't use more tension than necessary to relax the skin.
I'd also try bring forward as much skin as possible beyond the head and try to grip it. Pull it forward and hold it there to get those skin cells to relax. If you do this in the shower or bath, the heat of the water will help. Here's a picture of the method:

No hurry - rarely is ... August 16 2006, 9:55 PM
Hello Lotus, interesting story there. Must have been quite a surprise to find out these details - can we ask, by the way, what country you are in?
In one sense, what you presumed about phimosis is entirely correct - the only real reason for a circumcision is where the foreskin is so tight it's preventing proper peeing - and even then, there are other ways of dealing with it. Essentially, men are circumcised because for some reason or other, they think it looks better, or they get really bad medical advice.
In fact, the "glansie" would be most useful in that situation - it is a quite narrow instrument and suited to passing through a narrow foreskin opening and then being opened out to stretch the opening. The problem is that beyond that situation of a very narrow foreskin, it is not so helpful as the blades are so narrow they apply too much pressure over a small area. If you can already see your glans (when you pull the foreskin back), you are better to use a nice broad object - such as your fingertip or fingertips. I don't think the "glansie" is a scam by any means, it is priced as what it essentially is; a medical tool, but I don't think it is the best approach in most cases.
Take a really good look at all the old threads here - at least 20 or 30 - to get an idea of all the things we have already explained, particularly about stretching approaches.
I can't see why you would have any problems with sex (due to your foreskin) - certainly not at your age. When you say you find it "difficult to take", I presume you are saying that the sensations are in fact - too strong? That's hardly the problem of which most people would complain - you just have to get your girlfriend to take it more gently.
I would be interested to have you explain precisely what you mean by "would be horrible for me unless I lubricate every few minutes"? Do you mean using artificial lubricant, or are you referring in some way to the natural lubrication you and your girlfriend produce?
In general, and again, you need to read back in other threads, we do not suggest you concentrate on pulling your foreskin back over your glans, but rather, getting a couple of fingers inside the tight part and using them to stretch. If you are cautious and can find a really smooth, safe object you can leave in place for much of the time, that's a really good way also.

I know how it feels

I have the same issue, i found out that something was wrong the exact same way that you did. I recently found the website selling the Glansie and i am very interested, but as a tip have you ever seen the flesh tunnels that some people wear? well i wear them and when i was increasing the size of my flesh tunnel in my ear i thaught that maybe i could use the old ones (washed first of course) as a stretcher for my foreskin. Anyway i put one in the other day and it is quite comfortable, my glans was very sensitive to it being there but over all it isn't too bad. I'd advise using a silicone flesh tunnel because you can squash them down to a smaller size and then persuade them in, a solid one would proably rip the skin if you tried to force it in. Also i am presuming you experienced the ballooning of the forskin when you pee? because the opening in the glans wasn't quite aligned tot eh opening of the foreskin, well using a silicone flesh tunnel seems to sort this out aswell just make sure to keep it clean yucky! .
