"excess" foreskin?

I'm not sure this is the right place for my sort of problem, but there does seem to be quite a few people here who know what they are talking about so hopefully you can help me. I have no trouble retracting the foreskin when soft and when I am erect i can pull it back over the glans but just barely and when fully erect it is mildly painful and the frenulum gets very white and stretched looking. My main problem is that after pulling the foreskin back when erect if i let go it simply pops back up and covers about 75% of the glans. I'm 20 and still a virgin mainly because of insecurities about this.

I've been considering circumcision just so I don't have to worry about it anymore, but I am not even sure if this is something I should worry about or how to deal with it. Any advice at all would be great thanks in advance.

Circumcision solves nothing

In fact, you'll lose a lot of sensitivity, because most of the penile nerves are in the part cut off. Don't think one more moment about sacrificing the best part of your penis.

If you're having trouble retracting, it could be due to either a tight frenar band or a tight frenulum or both. I suspect it is both in your case.

Read a few of the previous threads to get an idea of how to start stretching. The best one for the tight opening is to use two fingers inside of it, pulling it apart.

"Excess" penis?

Hmm, well if this isn't the right place for your sort of problem, I think you are going to have a major task on your hands finding one that is!

Look, as to your tight frænulum, the message is as ever - read back through this forum however far back you need in order to understand how to approach your problem, how much you need to do, and what to expect along the way.

Twenty is fine - there's really no hurry and you have plenty of time to spend on the problem, but only when and while you do the stretching "exercises", will things improve, so I suggest you do the reading and start now - today in fact!

"Considering circumcision just so I don't have to worry about it anymore", eh? Well, if that is your line of thought, why not take it further and do the job properly? Then you'd have nothing at all to trouble you! If you are able to make comments like that, clearly you have just no idea of what you are talking.

And further (I have said this before on more than one occasion,) I have to say that if you are "20 and still a virgin mainly because of insecurities about this", then I really think you need a didactic lecture on "the facts of life".
  1. The option to indulge in sexual relations and intercourse in particular, has no connection with whether your foreskin pulls back or not and

  2. Indulgence in sexual relations and intercourse in particular is not to be taken in the cavalier fashion you imply, except by the intellectually disadvantaged, who by all means deserve to have a responsible adult supervising them. At the very least, given that you have some sort of relationship with a young lady which has a reasonable promise of enduring, you could not sanely consider intercourse without using a condom, in which case the condition of your foreskin becomes moot(2).
If you have insecurities, see an advisor, a pastor, or a qualified psychologist.
