My problem?

Thanks for this website.

I've gone half my life knowing that something wasn't quite right and I think it's time I found out what it was!

I can't retract my foreskin very far because it looks like the raphe is attached to the glans just below the pee-hole. This is the same whether the penis is erect or flaccid. Is it possible for the raphe to be attached to the glans, or am I confusing it with the frenulum? I've looked closely and it is definitely the raphe that continues to the glans, preventing retraction. Erections aren't a problem.

I'd be grateful for some kind of diagnosis, and advice on how it can be sorted out.

Thanks

Stuart

The little attachment you see is actually the frenulum.

Exactly how far can you retract? Are there any problems which arise from degree of retraction?

My problem?

Thanks for the reply. Because of the attachment I can only retract when flaccid until about half the glans is showing. When erect it is even less. Then the attachment prevents me from being able to retract any further. I have not had any problems arising from degree of retraction but wonder whether it would cause problems in having sex without a condom.

Here's what I'd do:

or this:

Because you have a call of nature several times per day, you can do this often. It's easy and should be highly effective over time. Time will be your enemy if you don't have a strong desire to get this done. Complete resolution make take you several weeks. I would count on at least two months to see complete retraction, but that's going to require daily attention of several stretching sessions. When you can, hold the stretch for several minutes. Use a clock, for almost no one can keep track past about three minutes. Shoot for five, twice per day, with numberous little tugging sessions each time you pee.

The odds of having your foreskin make it all the way back where it will get momentarily stuck are actually pretty good, so a condom is very much recommended until you sort this out. Having that happen creates a lot of anxiety, and it could hurt too. Beyond that, the frenulum could be torn, causing lots of bleeding.

Please try this and get back to me on how it's going.
