Firstly, your story itself excellently illustrates the primary points we are consistently making here - if
you do the exercises, you will get results. Of course there are all sorts of variables and potential complications such as Candidal infection; you obviously had a simple, straightforward, primary tight foreskin which had never really been stretched and once you did the stretching, it was corrected in short order (but remember to do them for at least another month to "fix" the stretch).
Some people will find it more difficult and need to do it for longer, sometimes much
longer and will need the ointment. But in almost all cases, you do
it and you will get results.
I'm glad for you, and we really appreciate people coming here to post of success
, but I have to say, the article
you cite really made me smile. The article refers directly to this forum as the source of information, not giving a direct link as of course, we are not an academic publication, but giving a search term which when put in Google, leads here eventually
though unfortunately gives higher precedence to the fetish sites.
I may suggest that the author modifies the reference so it points more directly here.
Dr. Yap has done a very nice job of summarising many if not most of my recurrent explanations; while I might have said more in such an article, he has made the points concisely and point for point, I could find little to criticise. Nor is it entirely
from my contributions here, he has clearly looked at other references and/ or personal knowledge and made his own conclusions.
And his penultimate paragraph certainly puts it in perspective - if you look on American "advice" sites, you will tend to get told you need a circumcision - no matter whatever it is you complain about, but in Britain where the doctors tend to be more competent and ethical (no guarantees, but tend
to), you stand a better chance.
