Deviated frenulum?

Hi, I'm a 21 year old male who has phimosis. I first found out about it last year and since then I have been stretching it. I can just about coax it over the glans when flaccid but when erect I find that the right side of my foreskin tends to go down more than the left side. This results in in the foreskin being unevenly retracted. When using lubricant while masturbating, the right side of my foreskin goes past the corona of the glans whereas the left side remains in front. I managed to completely retract my foreskin once but I got so scared of paraphimosis that I pulled it back right away. Also, when looking straight on at my penis, my right side seems to be bigger and my frenulum seems to move towards one side. It's a bit hard to describe without a picture but I hope you can have a mental image of it.

Is this normal?

Asymmetry

Yes, it's normal, albeit somewhat unusual. One of your testicles hangs lower than the other too.

Can you tell you what you've been doing to expand the skin? If it's working, keep doing it.

But ... why?

Now just why were you scared of "paraphimosis"? Have you been reading "junk" websites?

{Less than Subtle Hint: read the forum just recently - or a bit further back (bottom of the thread). In fact, you will find quite a lot about it here!}

Jim, I've been doing the exercises that you guys have been vouching for on this forum.
Paul, I understand that a clear mind and manual reduction is all that is needed to restore the foreskin over the glans. In my case, I think it's mostly mental, I freak out when it happens.

Face the giant

If you were to do it once, realizing you could overcome the problem, your fear would be alleviated.

Bad thoughts

As Jim observes, the "cure" for your "freaking out" is when you start pulling it right back - even if only briefly - on a regular basis. But I am sure your anxiety is more a result of reading garbage on the 'net (how else would you know the nasty word to use?), than what you have actually done and observed yourself. wink.gif

However, doing that is not the cure for the tightness itself so for the moment, concentrate on the stretching. Without pulling your foreskin back (in fact the opposite - pulling it forward), you need to practice getting a finger through the tight opening, then getting bigger fingers through, your thumb, then the tips of your two little fingers so that you can pull them apart to stretch.

And yes, you will need to do the frænulum stretch as well, at least as often. Do tell us now just how many fingers you can get in - that's a good indicator of just how tight it is at any given stage in the progress.
