I am back to this helpful forum....after 6 months. As already stated priviously, I am not having any problem due to tight forskin exceot that some irritation is there.I consulted some Doctors and given some medicin for fungus and infection.Situation has not changed much.

However from last three days I am working on advise of another Doctor.
He has advised me to use the cream: Xylocaine 2% Jelly (AstraZeneca Make)- twice a day and pull back skin for 5 minutes.I am finding some improvement.
Please advise - shall I continue with this treatment.
I am also taking - on advise of Pharma salesman - Fluconazole Tablets 150 ( once in 3 days )- and it appeare my fungus is under control as there is no whitesh under the skin.
Before I forget - I got my blood suger(both PP and fasting) and urine tested 3 days back - all are under control.
Thanks.

Treating the yeast internally when topical treatment failed is a good idea. That's why you're getting results. Continue taking it for prescribed period to ensure complete control.

Why was xylocaine prescribed? Were you hurting?

Xylocaine Jelly is a local anaesthetic - I cannot really see how this is going to help you. I am not sure of a benefit to stretching to a point which would be painful, and for which you would therefore need the anaesthetic. Certainly, some medical procedures involve stretching under anaesthetic, but we are not recommending them, and I would not myself recommend that you do such a thing yourself.

On the other hand, merely pulling the foreskin back does not seem a particularly effective method on its own (whether or not you are using the local anaesthetic).

My understanding of the dosing schedule of fluconazole is 150 mg weekly. Every three days is I presume, OK (I don't think it is harmful), but I would think more often than necessary.

I don't recall whether you were actually diabetic in the first place, but control of diabetes is absolutely critical in the control of Candida or other fungal infections.
