I'm 27yo male. I was able to retract my foreskin first time about a year ago.
My phismosis was rather mild and loosing the skin progressed quite fast.
Opening is loose now BUT...
Often, usually couple of hours after masturbation, when I begin retracting I feel a brief pinch at the right side of foreskin near the opening. It feels a bit like pulling a wery small scab.
This feeling indeed is brief and goes away instantly, only mild tenderness is left behind to surrounding area for few minutes.
It doesn't sting at all if water or urine gets to this area, so I think that surface of skin should be OK.
I don't see cuts or tears in this area, I even bought a USB microscope to get a better look at surface and no findings there...
Area is not dry or abnormal looking.
Only differences I have noticed on this very area (compared to left side) is large vein or artery going through it and allso there are lots of fordyce spots, some even on surface of this artery.
Does anyone have an idea what could cause this "scab pulling" type pinch?
I'm all out of ideas and extremely worried if this is some sort of cut-healing-cut-healing->scarring scenario.
This has been bothering me last six months and I would be greatfull for any ideas.

Are you sexually active?

Have you had sex without using a condom?
It's a vein, not an artery.

Permit me to tell a small (very small) secret.
I have a tiny spot on my own scrotum which - possibly when I am a bit sweaty - becomes intensely itchy and demands to be scratched (fortunately not in public, in fact most often when I am getting in the shower).
Nothing is visible. I do believe a touch of steroid ointment (even simple hydrocortisone) settles it for a while. I have considered using cryocautery on it but of course the equipment for that is at the office and that would be - well - rather inconvenient.
I should be interested in whether this spot of yours is on the inside or the outside of the foreskin - you mentioned it was not at the opening, and as it is to one side, it has no connection with the frænulum which is the subject of so many concerns.
My point is if you cannot see it even with the USB microscope (I think I want one of those. In fact I know I do! I want a camera to attach to my otoscope too, to show people what I am viewing), I doubt it is of any significance.
Actually, Jim's query is very astute - this sort of odd sensation is actually one of the hallmarks - but most certainly by no means diagnostic - of herpes simplex. Cuts that do not heal must have a cause; but I doubt that is what you are experiencing.

Your pictures tell the story. See the brown ring in the top picture? That's the little ring which needs stretching. With your foreskin forward, over the glans, insert a finger from each hand and pull the ring apart gently. Hold this stretch several minutes and repeat it at least one more time per day.

Well, what shows in that picture is that you have very little evidence of a short frænulum, but certainly a tight foreskin opening which you need to address as Jim specifies - it is very clear that you can get a couple of fingers in that opening - while the foreskin is forward - and do the stretching.
Should you do some frænulum stretching as well? Well, it's probably not a bad idea; the second photo has lousy focus and I am afraid it isn't much use in figuring that out one way or the other.
