Thank You and a question

Young Man

First off, Thank you very much for this insightful board to both jim and Paul B. and to all the people courageous enough to post. For a few days, I have been scouring all the threads and pages for about the first 13-17 or so pages. I have come to a clear conclusion that I have been using an improper technique, although I have been having results. For the past few years(24 yrs old and no sexual interaction beside masturbation), I have known I have had phimosis or a short foreskin. I kept telling myself I would start to stretch it and whatnot, so I started to search for some techniques and obviously found conflicting information and whatnot. So the procedure I started to use a few weeks ago was I would get erect and pull the foreskin down as far as I could until I felt a little discomfort but held it there for a long time(20+minutes). When I had started, I could barely see the top of the glans as it was to painful to stretch any further. I would do this every night or take a night off here an there if I felt discomfort from the previous night. After about a week I could fully retract to behind the corona. I was always a bit scared that I might not be able to retract it back further. About a week ago I finally got the courage to stretch about as far as I could while taking a bath and found out I could stretch, while flaccid of course, just about all the way. I noticed though that my frenulum or foreskin directly underneath the glans was pulling my glans downward. At this point I had not tried to my current technique while erect all the way down to the corona. That night I would try while erect to go as far as I could I started to feel discomfort the closer I got to to trying to pull of my corona from my frenulum. A few days ago I have been scouring the internet on conditions and remedies and by chance I happen to come across this board via wikipedia(which I know you guys do not seem to care for) while searching frenulum breve. I am so glad I came here and looked because I have been doing the techniques that you guys outline on stretching with the two index fingers and pulling down on foreskin to stretch the frenulum. I have been stretching my frenulum for a few days now and while erect I can now get the foreskin past my corona just barely but my underside does hurt a little. As they say: "No pain, no gain". I have not cut my foreskin at all fearing scar tissue and whatnot but I would just like to say thank you again to jim and Paul B. My one question is, is seeking out this Betamethasone cream 0.05% help in any way either. My frenulum is akinhttp://www.network54.com/Forum/244184/thread/1254091852/last-1255462556/Tight+foreskin%2C+stretching+with+ear+tunnels%2C+pictures+%2B+questions , but it seems he can retract farther than I can while erect. Any suggestions is welcome

What works is not wrong

Give yourself more credit. You got results. That's what counts. Now your job is to stretch that frenulum and you'll be perfect. I wouldn't worry too much about getting betamethasone. You've done everything so far without it, and I believe you can go all the way without it also.

Minor detail.

As I have only just replied to someone else here, you clearly need to proceed with both "exercises" for some time to obtain - and ensure you will afterward maintain - an easily and comfortably retractile foreskin.

The betamethasone (ointment if you have really been reading back) is likely to be useful insofar as it speeds stretching - more stretch with less strenuous stretch - but may not necessarily shorten the overall duration of the program necessary to ensure a permanent result. The first reason we downplay its use is that in any country with a reasonably competent medical profession, it requires a doctors prescription and even then it is disturbing difficult to find a doctor with the competency to comprehend how and why it is used.

Also, people become inappropriately focused on obtaining it, rather than doing the exercises which are the essential part of getting a result. The ointment only becomes absolutely necessary to the process in the presence of certain skin diseases.

I have just recently posted about the (comparative) significance of minor pain following stretching.
