Foreskin dry and cracked

Hello! Great thanks for this forum. Excuse my bad english. I have 32 years. My Foreskin is mild narrowed. When the penis is an erection, Foreskin glides smoothly. But the erection does not go smoothly. No pain, but you can see and feel the narrow ring. I read this forum and I started stretching before 20 days. I felt I was a little improvement. The erection ring is obeyed, but still visible. Now the problem. Ring, ring around, there were cracks in the Foreskin. Foreskin dry and cracked. Where is the problem? I have operated on 24 years with the frenulum. I have a child. Thanks!

Cracking means something

Anytime the foreskin reacts by drying and cracking, that's a clue that something else is in the equation. It's almost always yeast. Get some Lotrimin and start treating the area.

I use vegetable fats for dry and cracked skin. What could cause this phenomenon? Strong stretching? Can this cause a contraction of the ring? Suspected BXO?

Cause?

November 8 2009, 7:20 PM

Yeast is generally the cause. If you've have unprotected sex with someone who had it, that's one way to get it. Using soap to wash inside your foreskin is the most common way, and using some antibiotics will do it What it does is to restrict your ability to stretch. The BXO scare is quite overdone. Treat for yeast, and I think you'll find relief.

I think that the cracks formed strong stretching. I am stopped stretching and new cracks are not formed. Can I continue to gently stretch, or wait for recovery? Gently pull the erection does not Pain. I am Croatian and my English is not good. Thanks for your help:)

I can not find Lotrimin in Croatia. I use vegetable fats for dry and cracked skin. Satisfactory? I am afraid of narrowing.

I was in the pharmacy and I asked Lotrimin. I got Canesten cream. Canesten for fungal infections. But if my problem is caused by the strong stretching? I think that the cracks of strong stretching. Will then cream work? Big Thanks!

That should work

November 10 2009, 7:19 AM

In a sense, you are correct that the stretching is causing the cracking. However, healthy skin will not crack. It is the presence of the yeast which prevents the skin from simply expanding.

The cream should work. Occasionally, some yeasts may put up resistance to certain products. Persist and see what happens.

I see changes. Cracks (skin) is peeling and is updated as new skin. Can it cause a pinched?

Probably not

November 10 2009, 9:59 AM

If you were to pinch the skin, it would hurt. The cracks almost always are a result of a yeast infection, and yeast comes from using soap to wash the penis. The inside of your foreskin is a tissue called mucosa, and the same tissue lines your nostrils, your mouth and your rectum. Would you put soap in your mouth to clean it? See what we mean?

Soap irritates, and furthermore, it removes the friendly bacteria which are meant to live inside your foreskin. They are there to keep the place safe from invasion by little creatures such as yeast. The secretions from inside the skin are known to have anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties. When soap removes them and the little guys who should be living inside of there, bacteria, yeast, and virus can take up residence and cause all kinds of problems.

Because the climate inside the skin is warm and moist, yeast is usually the one which moves in. In fact, it's probably always there, but is kept in balance by the natural presence of proper bacteria and the secretions. There's also a probability that the glands which secrete the substance disappear with aging as autopsies on older intact dead men fail to reveal them.

In babies and pre-adolescents, the foreskin doesn't usually retract, so this is nature's way of keeping everything inside healthy.

For now, do not wash your penis with soap. Use just clear water and dry thoroughly. Apply the medicine to all parts you can reach inside the skin and on the outside to the parts which cover the head of your penis. It is probably sufficient to wash just once per day to avoid irritation, but apply the medicine twice or according to directions on the package.

Thanks Jim for the presentation of the problem. When the Foreskin dry, I see small scabs on the cracks. I'm reading that scabs can cause pinched. That's why I'm depressed. Cracks at the top Foreskin. Where was the stretching force. Scabs on the outside cracks. With the inner side there is no scab. Scabs are very small, it felt rough under my fingers. I would like to solve the problem without surgery. You are my big hope. I would prefer living with a mild phimosis as far but without the Foreskin.

Sure

As long as there is no pain and no bleeding, it's probably a good idea to keep things mobile.

Clotrimazole

November 10 2009, 2:59 AM

is the pharmaceutical name, or miconazole is similar.

If you cannot find that, then gentian violet is cheap, effective but terribly messy.

Dear Jim! Cracks from the outside are healed, but with the inner side are not cured. It made me worry. What should I do? To see a dermatologist? What do you think about preputioplasty?

This is what to do

November 20 2009, 11:44 AM

Tell me what you have been doing for treatment, and we'll go from there.

I think surgery is not necessary and that if you follow the advice, you'll get results.

Until the problem leaves

November 21 2009, 5:57 AM

I think you might have to get a prescription for an oral medicine which fights yeast.

Are you using soap to wash your penis? If so, quit immediately. Use only clear water.

I am using soap to wash the penis. But I stopped using it when I got the cracks. I now wash the penis Foreskin and chamomile. I think I see a dermatologist. I am depressed.

Dear Jim! I was at a dermatologist because of cracks. I explained to him that caused the cracks. He said that this is normal and needs no special treatment. Dermatologist suggested circumcision. I mentioned to him stretching and steroid creams. He said that this does not help and that if problems do circumcision.

Findings written by dermatologist: Changes in the skin in the form of shallow ragada (cracks), no other pathological changes. Use only with Bepanthen ung. in case problems do circumcision.

What do you really want from us?

November 26 2009, 6:17 PM

We have given you proper advice. If you take it, you can very likely cure your problem. If you take the doctor's advice, you lose an important body part. Which do you want?

Just curious, is the doctor's brother a surgeon?
