Now healed....advice please ... (PICTURES!)

Hi Guys, ive started a new thread just so that people can see there are pictures included so they can choose if to view or not.

I had a frenuloplasty but im not sure that its helped me...if you look at the picture below it still seems a bit short and that is with me gently pulling the foreskin to show you. When i pull a little bit more the frenulum turns white and tighter.

I thought a frenuloplasty would have helped me but im not sure it has? Im not sure they have done what i thought it was....it just seems they cut it and moved it slightly...no Z or Y plasty or anything? :S

I have had sex once since but only with a condom and there was no pain....however when i was receiving oral before hand i could feel it slightly a few times....now im not sure if this is still because it was only 3 weeks ago since the operation (im sure it should be fine now??) or something to do with me trying the frenulum stretches and that has made it sore?? and i need to leave it?

Im just really worried now that if i was to have sex without a condom that i would be back to square one again and be in pain when inserting...this would really affect me mentally as i assumed this procedure would have fixed that!

I have a appointment with the urologist in May as a standard recall examination to check up on me and if it is still tight then he may say i need circumcision...obviously i dont want this!

How certain is it that stretching will work? especially after my operation and it may be scar tissued, its just really annoying me now its been nearly a year and really getting to me!

Any suggestions will help!

Here is the picture....what do you guys think?.. (i dont know how to host this properly, if ive done it wrong could you please edit so it works? happy.gif )

I think it looks perfectly normal.

Oh really?

Do you think i would benefit from more stretching? I was looking at one of those links and like the idea of being able to retract all the way to the base...purely for the fact that other than the sensation i would know for sure i would never be in pain again if it was able to stretch that far!

Could i achieve this somehow? and the people that can do it have they got extra long frenulums?

More thinking

I see your frenulum as average, not extra long. Do you want your foreskin to retract further back? Is so, continue stretching, but from what appears in the picture, it should work just fine.

As before

Look, I can really only repeat my previous advice - if you are unhappy, you should do the stretching - much as we feel you should have done instead of proceeding to surgery.

It's not as if it is hard - require one hand only, not necessary to remove clothing so very little privacy required. You can probably do it whilst sitting and browsing the Internet.

And if you are unhappy about this procedure that you have had, that would be nothing compared to how unhappy you would have been or would be - sooner or later - after a circumcision. We are not sure the frænuloplasty has helped you either but then you see - we never advise it in the first place. wink.gif

Nevertheless (as my wife loves to say), the question is - have you now started the stretching - in the manner we have advised?

Ok, so i have just been 'investigating' it, playing around with it, stretching it up and down, side to side etc.. (not the stretches you advise, this was just to see how free it was)

I noticed then once it was stretched the frenulum turned white and the skin was hard...and felt as though if it was touched roughly it would cause sharp pain.

Now after playing with it, it seems it would work perfect if it didnt have that hard skin on it....what is this and is there anyway to get rid of it??

thanks

Keep working on it

It's probably still in the process of healing, so if you continue to work with, it should loosen up. Don't give up.

Last time to say this on this particular thread.

"That hard skin" is the scar tissue which is the normal process of healing after a major injury - such as surgery - to the skin.

You have two choices - wait some months and see how much it softens by itself with no further intervention, or start active stretching yesterday and accelerate the process immensely.
