hi,

i am 25 yrs old. last week i was having a burning sensation at the tip of my penis evrytime i went for urination..when i went to a urologist he said that since my foreskin doesnt slips back..as a result some of the waste matter in my urine gets acumualted at the tip of my penis causing infection and burning sensation..he suggested that this is called "phimosis" when the forskin is attached to the head of the penis.. and the burning sensation that was happening is just one of the problems of it..he said i might not even be able to have sex because of phimosis...till now i never had sex so i dont know whether he is right or wrong.....he suggested circumcision..well, i am lil sceptical to any surgery..so please help....and suggest asap..

Forget everything the doctor told you. I urine were a problem, all intact baby boys would be infected. That is obviously not the case, right? You most likely have a little yeast problem which is easily cured by over the counter yeast medicines. Your local pharmacy stocks them in the women's personal need section.

It will take two or three days to clear up the burning, but continue the medicine for about two weeks. Don't use any soap to wash your foreskin!!! That means never use soap.

Phimosis plays no role in the ability to have sex. If you can get erections, you're in business. In some men with tight foreskins, sex can be uncomfortable as the foreskin attempts to retract. If that is your case, you need to stretch in order to make the opening large enough to pull the skin back. Read over at least two pages of threads completely to get the hang of it.
