I commend your actions in not returning. Where in the world do you call home? Obviously, the doctor is quite ignorant of male anatomy.
For now, you need to do some reading. Read every complete thread on this page. If you find a link to a site diagramming the exercise, follow the direction. If you don't find it, read further. The other guys' situations will give you direction, so that's why we have you read.
You'll notice changes within two to three days, but it takes several weeks to find permanent change.
Sadly, the doctor probably thinks you are just "too cowardly" to undergo surgery. The actual situation is that either he is himself circumcised and simply ignorant of what the foreskin actually does in sexual function, or is intact but has problems with his sexual identity. Either way, it speaks very badly of him and you are wise not to go near him again. We do of course get curious - depending on what country you are in, would tend to indicate which of these more likely explains his actions.
Do keep reading back through the discussions here. The broad answer is always that you keep stretching and pay attention to the detail and persistence in doing so. There is most certainly no hurry in the matter - which makes it all the more perverse that the doctor would have advised you to proceed immediately to mutilation; just keep at it and you will see continuing progress, even if it does not appear to be consistent - you may progress a while, not notice progress for a little, and then start to see it again. You just have to keep going.
