I came to this forum seeking information specifically about the Novoglan Gentle Foreskin Stretching device. I have never been able to pull back my foreskin and the foreskin opening has always been the same size, just big enough to urinate out of. I'm 28 and about 9 years ago I did consult my local gp about what I could do to fix this. I was referred to a specialist to discuss my options. Circumcision had been mentioned in that discussion and I never got around to visiting the specialist. I was very concerned that if circumcision was my only option I would need to do this during a holiday period or a time when I could take leave so that any discomfort during healing could be experienced privately. I also was very uncomfortable with people taking sharp things to my willy.
Last month I did some research on a product I had noticed a couple of years back called the Glansie. It is a rather scary looking device and while reading about this I noticed a discussion on the ballooning method. This seemed like a really good idea and I was all ready to go out and buy a pack of water balloons and a plunger but I forgot all about it when I was at Coles. The next day I decided to place my order for the Novoglan. $100 seems like a lot for a 4 pack of water balloons, a plunger and a couple of alcohol swabs but this cost is far less prohibitive than circumcision and the method was more appealing than the Glansie.
It arrived today and I have just finished my first session. I intend to do this twice a day until I can pull my foreskin back completely. During the first session I left the balloon in for about ten minutes. I think my eyes were playing tricks on me but the opening does seem rounder and slightly more open (wishful thinking). I'm not expecting to notice any real difference until at least five days from now. I haven't bought any of the creams which are commonly suggested like betamethasone, hydrocortisone or the cream sold by Platigo Solutions.
I am very interested to know if anyone else on the forum has used the product and can give me any advice on best practice when using or tips to promote faster stretching. I am very hopeful and can't wait to see the results of 14 days of continual use. The balloon was kind of tricky to insert at first but with some persistence and patience the device is easily inserted now. I can't wait to be normal
