Foreskin stretcher

Hello everyone

I have a tight foreskin and i've been trying manual stretches with steroid cream for the last month. It just seems that unless Im stretching constantly (which I cant do as Im at work) it just goes back to the normal size again. Im so frustrated now. I looked at circumcision but I've backed out of it as I've read a lot of bad press on it.

Has anyone tried the stretching kit made by Phimocure?

I was just going to buy one of the other kits but found the Phimocure site and it seems to be more logical that their kit is more likely to work.

The others seem too expensive for what they are selling. I appreciate that we're probably a small market to sell to but they seem excessive for something that might not work.

So am I missing something or is the Phimocure kit more likely to work as I could prob leave them in for longer??
Thanks

Make your own

The kit is composed of skin tunnels which are available at most piercing shops. You can order them from Phimocure, or you could make a trip to your local piercing shop and buy your own. The principle is sound.

What kind of steroid are you using?

Skin tunnel with sensitive glans?

April 17 2012, 6:15 PM

The skin tunnels would be too painful with a hypersensitive glans right? Do you just leave them in underneath your foreskin during the day?

Try it

You'll discover that by trying them. I suggest that in the beginning you leave it in for about an hour to see how things go. Take a break and then reinsert. You'll learn as you go.

The so-called "hypersensitive glans"

April 17 2012, 10:57 PM

is relevant only to lack of lubrication. It's not "hypersensitive" at all. It's not overly sensitive - as you already know - under the foreskin because the foreskin slides so easily over it. Using the "flesh tunnels" with some lubricant should not be a problem at all - the lubricant lets them slide smoothly over the glans.

One of my concerns about the "Phimocure" site is their suggestions that the devices be used only for limited times and not at night. In fact (and bearing in mind that when used for stretching earlobes, they are used all the time), it is a process of "acclimatisation" where you try them in for an hour or so, then if comfortable for two hours, four hours, eight hours (you can of course, pee through them) and up to 24 hours, taking them out when you wash, washing the tunnel at the same time and rinsing it meticulously, and re-inserting.

Any problems, go back to shorter times, but the objective is continuous use.

You better believe the bad press.

Circumcision is the most foolish thing you could ever have done.

Sadly the "Phimocure" website itself is "brain dead" and the description of phimosis and related problems is badly misleading and unhelpful, but the product itself looks quite reasonable to me (that is, the silicone flesh tunnels; I am not in a position to assess the bona fides of their "healing cream", see my comments elsewhere about Zinc and Castor Oil) and probably reasonably priced.

While others have in the past found it less than optimum, soft silicone seems to be to be the best material for flesh tunnels for this purpose, and the shape illustrated with a smooth "valley", is the most appropriate.

Sounds all good. You might be able to find a similar product through other suppliers or local tattoo/ piercing shops, but "Phimocure" may well turn out to be the most practical.

Yes, what steroid? Have you read and understood my comments in (many) other discussions here?

I didnt have circumcision I said I considered having it as nothing has worked so far

The steroid cream is called Diprolene.

I emailed them and asked if it would be appropriate to wear them overnight during sleep and they said it depends on factors such as the individual's skin elasticity and likelihood of soreness, but original trials showed a higher rate of inflammation when the individuals didnt have a recovery period, so they suggest to keep to the instructions and increase the time as suited to me.

They seem helpful enough anyway and didnt seem pushy to sell to me so Ive ordered one anyway, theyve included an additional smaller ring at no cost too

I'll post an update on it if anyone is interested

I confess to using a somewhat "off" mix of grammatical tenses there.

April 20 2012, 6:03 AM

I was not suggesting that you had opted for a circumcision, I was just commenting that circumcision is palindromically foolish; it would be foolish if you had it done (in the past) it would be foolish to have it performed in the future. It is a "cure" whose consequences are worse than the "disease". The problem is that fellows imagine that a tight foreskin is a problem when in fact, with few exceptions they function relatively normally already.

Diprolene is the cream you are using now (not to be confused with the cream offered with the "Phimocure"). Except for the fact that the ointment is preferable, that sounds just fine.

You say "nothing has worked so far", but we are not sure whether what you are doing so far is following what we describe, or something else?

I am glad to see that the "Phimocure" company's email response is more effective than their website. I can understand their caution about not recommending wearing overnight and Jim has advised similarly; you certainly would not want to do so until you were entirely comfortable with using them in the daytime as they could perhaps tend to get trapped while you were asleep, however unless you are drugged, you usually have sufficient awareness to correct uncomfortable pressure as you sleep and they are going to be most effective - which is what people usually desire - if worn continuously.

Please do keep us updated, I anticipate you will be pleased with the devices.

It was nothing to do with an 'off mix of grammatical tenses' at all. You said "circumcision is the most foolish thing I could ever have done". How is that a mix up of your grammatical tenses? You seem to show hostility and you should try to be more friendly to new forum users like me instead. It does nothing but create barriers when people wish to discuss their personal issues. Many people are on here as it is an informal way of discussing their problems.

If anyones interested, yes the kit is working

Max

Whoa!

What's the source of hostility with you? Neither Paul nor I has any financial gain from our efforts here, so I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say. We are both generously trying to help you. For your information, we get about 3000 hits per days from all around the world. From those hits, a handful contribute from areas where the English language is not the first language used. Communication though cyber space is not exactly the same as face to face where other elements of communication are available to help convey the message more clearly. If we get to the point quickly, it's because we are busy guys who still wish to get your answers to you expediently. A clear understanding is important.

To be told 'circumcision is the most foolish thing you could ever have done' by someone I have never spoken to in my life is offensive isn't it???? What's so difficult to understand that being called foolish is offensive??? It's offensive in any language isn't it?? I didn't talk about whether you made financial gain and that's completely irrelevant. Usually health related forums allow respectful and friendly discussion, after all, many people are on here as they feel uncomfortable in speaking to their GP about such personal issues.

No, it really is not.

It's the truth. Those in denial of truth use the excuse that it is offensive because facing truth is often painful. Nonetheless, it is the truth. You came here for help and advice. We offered you legitimate answers based upon facts. It's up to you to accept that or get advice somewhere else. The archives show the results of listening to what is said. Some listened; some didn't. Those who did saved their foreskins.

For true medical conditions, you should be able to speak to your GP about anything at all. However, a tight foreskin is not a medicals condition. It's simply one of maturity.

Coming here is anonymous. We have no idea who you are, nor does anyone else unless you tell him.

Merely stating facts I am afraid.

April 28 2012, 4:17 PM

Hardly hostility. I do perhaps get a bit didactic about it, but this is a simple matter of right and wrong. Circumcision is a procedure designed for nothing more or less, than to damage the penis. It doesn't "fix" or "cure" anything because it always causes more severe damage than whatever supposed convenience it imparts.

Anyone who comes here with even the slightest imagination that circumcision could is some way "help" them, needs to lose that concept, because the idea that circumcision is in some way an "alternative" to either stretching or simply continuing to function as they presently are - which latter is almost always a viable approach once they understand that a tight foreskin does in itself not prevent them from normal sexual function - constitutes an impediment to progress.

We all do "foolish" things and have foolish thoughts. Unless you confess this, it become very difficult to advance through life because you have a natural barrier to learning. You have to accept feeling a bit of a fool sometimes. Circumcision is a foolish act which some people are led into, frequently by mendacious others who profit and/ or glory from doing so.

Hey guys i received my phimocure kit on saturday and have given it ago already, i seem to best fit the 3rd smallest ring at the moment but i was wondering if you guys are also having trouble keeping the ring in a stable position? By that i mean i can get it in okay and it feels like its stretching and doing a good job although the ring moves about too much either popping out or the forskin engulfing the ring so it ends up sitting inside the forsking and not actually stretching the phimotic ring as it should do, ive tried the bigger sizes so i know that doesnt help either, i cant imagine walking around and it staying in place to be honest i must say im a little disapointed this early in the game and id be interested to hear if anyone else has this problem?

Thanks

Curious effect.

The only reason I can think of for this is that the frænulum is causing the problem and "ejecting" or destabilising the expander.

I would suggest persisting with the rings, but focusing on doing the frænulum stretches for the present, which I suspect will make the rings fit better over time.
