Tight foreskin

Hello I am 15 and am experiencing problems with my foreskin,

I guess I have self-diagnosed it as phimosis as it does not pull over the penis head whilst erect or flaccid.

I was wondering if you could give me any techniques like stretching which I can do on my own at home as I am not keen on seeing my GP just yet

It has started to concern me more now as I am getting older and I can't see it being long before I get a girl friend and I'd hate this phimosis to get in the way.

Everywhere I look it does give some stretching advice but I'd like to hear it from someone personally

All I'd like is to be able to pull it back like normal, without it affecting my confidence if I engage in sexual contact in the future

Please help, thanks

Not the problem it may seem

Your tight foreskin really won't get in the way of sex with a partner if it has not interfered with solo sex. You didn't say it did, so you're good to go right now. However, your enjoyment will be greater with the ability to retract comfortably.

There is a post by me which shows the little lock symbol. Check that out for three different techniques. The one you use will depend upon the severity of the tightness. If you are able to get two fingers inside at once, graduate to the one on the page linked. Otherwise, you need to begin with the one using your fingers to pull the opening apart. If you can get one finger (lubed) inside, do that often and try putting tension upon the opening as you do it. You no doubt also need work on the frenulum, a little stringy thing inside that you may not know you have. It's a little tether which sometimes restricts range of movement.

You are far too young to make babies, so whatever you pursue, do it with contraception in mind. If the girl is using something, you also need to wear a condom to prevent pregnancy but also prevent catching something you don't want. When wearing a condom, an intact man really doesn't need to retract the foreskin. You'll do quite well leaving it fully forward and rolling the condom right over the skin. If it's really tight, it'll ride just fine. If your foreskin is uncommonly long, even after it becomes retractile, the method of not retracting is sometimes recommended to keep the gliding effect of dislodging the condom. Only experience can determine your best approach. Just remember, babies are meant for dedicated couples!

You seem to misunderstand the nature of this discussion board.

What you describe is the reason (almost) everyone comes here. This means that the answer to your question, is more or less, the same as the answer to everyone else, so you do not need to ask questions until you have read many dozens of the previous discussions.

When you have done the reading, only then if you feel that your situation is somehow different from the other fellows, you might post some comments. happy.gif
