I'm hear in Halifax, Nova Scotia where I'm looking for gothic ladies interested in modelling, but are not sure how to go about getting reconized by a professional agency.
This service I will be providing is only for the ladies in Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville, Beaverbank, Fall River, Tantallon.
I'm available to do my best at helping out with this problem.
Here's a bit of info to think about before you make a decision...
1. You should be willing to put a little time and effort into it, if you want an agency to except you.
2. You will probably need to get film for a camera, as pictures are a big part in getting recognized.
3. You should have plenty of fashionable clothing for your pictures.
4. If I'm going to put alot of work into getting you accepted by an agency, you need to understand that there is a bit of a fee. Hey, it comes with the territory. I don't charge much, as I'm mostly doing this because I like this kind of work.
5. I would like to take the pictures and have some input on how to pose and on the fashion used.
I don't expect you to agree on every bit of advice I give, either.
What I'll be doing to help you:
First, the pictures need to be taken. Then I'll be making a homepage with information, pictures, etc. I have a scanner for puting pictures on the computer, so it is not necessary for you to have one of your own. I also have access to a camera (uses 35mm film. Fairly good quality).
After the homepage is made, I'll be contacting different agencies and doing what I can to interest them. Once you're in an agency, I may or may not continue providing service to you, depending on how necessary it is to do so.
