ok then ure looking to find a way to explain ure gothic well ive been a goth for about 5 years and into rock and metal etc since i can remember and ive had loadza shit of ppl 4 the way i dress ive been beaten up abuse shouted at me but at the end of the day if as u say ure gothic then it doesnt matter what ppl think because at the end of the day whats the point in denying yourself of who you are in your case gotic, and on the matter of the small village thing yeah ppl will talk and nothings ever gona change that and ppl will be weary of you but like i said its you who is important and fuk everyone else because its your style and your life, and if your parents and respective of wot u decide they really arnt worth it just say to them u should respect wot i am and love me for who i am not what u expect me to be and anyways wots normal in this day and age, gud luck and i hope ive helped u a bit and wen ppl are gettin u down and givin u grief for what u dress like etc just think to yourself at least your being true to how you fell

Let's see. I'm half goth. I love vampires and enjoy the sound of death. Anyway, you can tell them upfront or either just act like being all goth. Be yourself. That's what I do.

Hehehehehe...... assume yer takin the piss?! Ive always found that wearin black an lookin really depressed generally tends to speak for itself, although if you really want to drive the message home take them clubbing and start two-stepping in front of them... that'll clinch it.
Then you wont have to tell them- let the look wrok for itself!
