hi, does any body know what has happened to the band eternal chapter? Iv found what seems to be their home page, but it appears to be dead. i also found out that the guitarist (Jaco Visser) died last october. Does anybody know if they are still going? They are such a great band, i really want to know to if they are still aorund.

Hi Becky. Let me first of all introduce myself:- I was involved in TEC from the start with Jaco and Thomas (I think it was previously called Das Elend), left the band for a while due to studies, and joined them a bit later again after the album was made. I also toured with TEC. Jaco did die last year. I attended his funeral - it was very sad. Thomas is currently in London. Jaco was a driving force in TEC, and there are no intentions to restart TEC. I will pass your kind words on to Thomas. Thank you. Jaco had high standards, which he unfortunately took out mostly on himself and those close to him. The TEC is a testimony to the intensity of Jaco's musical drive and Thomas' creativity. Sadly I think I understand Jaco's restlessness a little bit better only now. All the best to you too.
