I will check out Mr Science this weekend if I can. I'm trying to sort out the goth multiple genre thing, still. instinctively, just reading on websites & stuff, I thought I'd like goth music. since it's been around for a pretty long time, though, & been morphing as it goes, there's just such an awful lot. and the stuff I've listened to (albeitly briefly, incompletely) I've found disappointing. not very--stimulating or exciting, either at an intellectual level or a gut level. and now I go & stand & stare at the massive amount of stuff & don't know where to start. there must be something there I'd like, that would be brand new & exciting to me to find....but I don't know the originators of the genre from the newest angles it's taken.
what, for instance is Darkwave? well, that has just such a cool sound to it. goth trance, is what I imagine. then my preconceptions get in the way, too. probably it's nothing like that.

I think its based or started loosely on Black Sabbath...but really I dont know.. but darkwave.. I assume is just raveyness with gothyness.. heheheh..bushwhacked by yer hormones?
