OMG!!!!! it has been almost ten years since i have seen the video for voodoo ray. i was crashed out on my sofa at 3.30am having a bedtime smoke when i flicked to MTV and voodoo ray was on the airwaves!!! well i jumped up!I was instantly awake!! eyes glued to the screen and hands frantically grabbing for the video remote!!! NICE ONE.... i have been waiting years to see this masterpiece again, i thought i was never gonna see it again.
holy shit!! this tune and this video is the reason i have dedicated my life to electronic music and the chemicals that enhance those sweet sonic impulses ;-> The artwork/animations in the video is remarkable on its own. there is a wide variety of abstract\vibrant trippy cutscenes spliced together with cutscene of that female who provided that haunting vocal and of course gerald himself buzzin on decks and saying the lyric himself, also some nice strobe effects of someone dancing (poss gerald??? not sure).
even just watching the video without the sound the visual feast alone is enough to take you on a trip. while i was looking at it last night I got this powerful urge to go out and neck some rhubarbs and custards or some love doves and have a party 1989 stylee!!!!! unfortunately those quality buzzers aint around anymore just like this gem of a music video.
somebody must have the full version of vr on video and if so could they please get it converted into digital form and put it online for everyone to enjoy. i didt catch the full vid and i aint got the tools to convert unfortunately. i cant believe it isnt online anywhere its an absolute classic. anyway i think i have ranted enough!! incase you havnt guessed i enjoyed it..a lot!!

nice one, Gerald.
