There used to be more mommies posting here! Where the heck is everyone???? Just wanted to say hello and that I have missed the board for a long time! Would love to catch up with anyone interested.
I find myself at Facebook more because I have many friends and family there and there's always something to do or read. I have my Jan 2000 friends in a friend list, and I can send a message to the whole group anytime. But I find that just reading people's status updates, seeing what pics they post etc. keeps me updated on what's going on. I guess there is greater potential for interaction and "play time" (e.g. seeing who I can beat on Pathwords or Bejeweled LOL) over on Facebook than there is here.
I know I haven't been anywhere close to a regular poster here in years...BUT I was sure happy to be able to find the forum still here when I came looking for it. I've had invitations to join face book from a few people. I'm just so busy that I haven't looked into what it would entail.
So, I guess it isn't that the forum members here are just busy that there are so few new posts...they are diverted?
Anyway....just wanted to say HI! And I'm sure glad that you guys were here when I need support in December!

don't know if I have the time or energy to get into it, but I do so miss the board posts and always feel sad when I check and there aren't any new ones. I am working 4/5 part-time jobs right now as things are tough and hope I have the time to figure it out one of these days.
Just set up an account and make it friends only. You can find the January 2000 FB page and re-connect with people... then you will be able to check the home/status updates and see what everyone is doing.
