DARNNIt it is reaaaaly screwed up isn't it? Is there any place that's similar to St. Judes wehre they treat anyone regardless of ability to pay? I can't imagine letting someone just go on with a cancer and not treating it. You'd think her hospital would hold fund raisers, have it done and worry about how to pay for it later. Society is really whacked. Major overhauls need to be done. We stopped caring for one another and got so busy chasing the almighty dollar.
I'll brainstorm but have no suggestions other than the equivalent to St. judes. There HAS to be a way. I'm truly wondering how my sister had her cancer treated..she didn't have insurance either...hmmm. But then..different state, different medicaid...the research hound in me is inspired..I'll see what I can come up with. Much love to you guys and I'll keep her situation and her in my prayers.
