So, tell me I'm not alone in these events...Today I was scrubbing the eating area floor because Max dumped a huge cup of lemonade the day before. I had thrown a towel over it because we were heading out the door. So I'm dealing with it now, scrubbing dried food also up and I know that Max has gone upstairs. I'm determined to have a clean floor. So I can hear on the monitor that all is well. Next thing you know, I hear water pouring and hitting the floor. I run into the toyroom and water is pouring from the ceiling! I run upstairs to find the toilet overflowing, about an inch of water all over the floor, and Max naked and standing oh so innocently by the potty. Evidently he stuffed it full of toilet paper and flushed. So many towels later, the water has made it's way down through the floors, into the basement. I guess it's good we have a drafty, old, house.
Sigh....
Here are some more fun times!
He can't get out and he's signing please so I'll help him.
Yes, he got up there by himself.
Isn't that how you eat popcorn?
The end.

My morning somewhat similar - Lily and Sophia this morning were like *&^%^ on wheels!!!! I am not sure where to begin except I was trying to get Lily on the potty while Sophia was finishing her cereal. As I went back to check on Sophia she had taken her cereal bowl and banged it up and down on the highchair so that milk was splattered all over her, all over the carpet under the table and all over the floor..... Then Lily and Sophia fighting over the blanket, the baby, the toy - hitting eachother, pulling hair - one crying because the other one got hit, then the other pushing the other one down..... Then a few minutes later they were both trying to pull the dried flowers out of the arrangement in the dining room - had to vacuum that and try to put it back together so it looked untouched! Then all the cushions off the couch after being told day in and day out lately it was not allowed - which caused more crying mainly Lily as it seems she is constantly crying this morning - Sophia is much tougher..... Then as I was frantically trying to pull it all together somehow Lily (well I assume it was Lily because she is taller) pulled my coffee cup off the counter and there was coffee everywhere all over the floor. Don't know which one spilled it as Sophia was closer, but I know Lily is good for blaming things on Sophia.... Then, I was washing Lily's hands after she went potty and as I turned the faucet off she decided she was not done and turned it to the left (HOT) and got burned on hot water and started - yep you guessed it crying again!!!! And to finish the morning..... Sophia used the potty and so I put Lily on.... As I was bringing a diaper to Scott to put on Sophia we realized she just pooped on the living room floor...... Hmmmmmmmmmmm - yes, I so feel your pain!!!!! At least I am getting them potty trained right???? lol
Yes, at least you are getting them potty trained. If I even attempted to start that I know I'd go right over that edge! Max and Sam are like twins as I imagine Lily and Sophie are. Your day sounds so much like many of mine. Max is into breaking cups right now and I'm convinced it's on purpose. Both boys think it's great fun to throw stuff, any stuff, and see how it lands. Oh wouldn't it be grand to get all 4 together. By the way, I love the pictures you posted. Was that at Lake Michigan? Lily is getting so pretty.
Max and Sam are keeping you on your toes. I think we might have a riot on our hands if we got Max, Sam, Lily, Sophia, and my Sarah and Katie all together. That would be way too much mischief in one area.
I have to say that you are WAY better at capturing their "fun" on film than I am. I always think about it afterwards and think "DANG that would have been such a funny picture!!"
I'll have to get better at snagging the camera out, lol.
But, PLEASE tell me what his feet are dragging in on the swing is only mud. O.O
You have 2 very feisty boys on your hands, and I can empathize. Sarah & Katie are my "2 peas in a pod filled with nitro-glycerin with the fuse lit". :D
Oh my gosh, it is our house!!! That is so funny and the only reason I am even on is b/c my mad man is sleeping in the dogs bed LOL!!
Don't you live in Southern Cal? We need to get our boys together, Boy could that be interesting what they would come up with!!!
The potty has ate 2 cell phones, my glasses, tons of bars of soap, and my daughters fav bar!!! Plus countless other things just went "bye bye".....SIGN Oh and he is a clothing oppositional boy too....School starts here on the 18th Aug.....Yes it is the most wonderful time of the year here...4 hours of peace!!!
These pictures crack me up....and I can so relate some days as Jamie will go from one mode of destruction to another...yikes!! I just can't believe how big Max looks in these photos though...it looks like he has grown four or five inches since Indy! Cute, cute, cute!!! (and as I always say, thank goodness they are so cute
HuGS!!
