Many people have speculated on who runs shame files and why they delete most of the posts. It has been claimed that the site is run by spazfish, bitchnet, sfa and wfc. While I don't know who runs it, I think I have figured out why they delete everything. It is run by someone, or some group, that is fundamentally opposed to free speech and the existence of a site like shame files. Given that such a site will inevitably come into existence, they took the approach that it is better to be in control of it. So they delete every thread that might make a site like shame files seem worthwhile, or that might lead people to figure out what is really going on with the other big websites. What they leave up is the baseless accusations that don't mean anything or that would make people think shame files is a waste of time.
