Someone let that fool Walter Starck on the radio again, and yet again he embarrassed every fishermen in QLD. Walter is fond of comparing Australia's fishery catch with lots of other countries and insisting it is sustainable because we don't catch as much. He conveniently ignores the fact that our waters are fundamentally less productive and if we were to even attempt to get as many fish out of them as they do elsewhere in the world we would destroy them. And he even calls himself a scientist. Don't you need some common sense to be a scientist? The wingnut brigade always lambast scientists who use results from overseas, yet chear on Walter Starck when he makes these absurd comparisons.
In other News Kevin Collins has put out a press release where he talks about the party in third person. He claims the QLD election was the TFP QLD 'election debut.' He must have forgotten about the previous federal election where they actually did a whole lot better than this election. Or maybe not - he goes on to compare the number of votes from the last election with the percentage from this one and claiming it is an improvement, when it is the exact opposite. Maybe he just can't admit that people are seeing through his backwards policies and he is running the party into the ground. He also repeated his absurd claim that the party could get a senator elected with such a poor result in just the coastal seats.
What a bunch of clowns. |
