You are right, but I think that you have not seen or read the magazine. Fernando Perales is based on a vehicle that never existed... except for a few days. He saw and photographed it in the Museé des Blindes of Saumur (France). Some months later, he no longer saw it. For that reason the article is titled MIRAGE and for that reason at the end there are Keith Ross' pictures of the authentic vehicle (The Real Thing), based as you say in chassis of M4A1 and M4A4.
