I would actually recommend this for your own piece of mind. I was NOT immune to toxoplasmosis, meaning I had not been previously exposed, which was hard to believe considering I'd owned cats for 10 years, dug around alot in garden dirt, and eat meat. However, that knowledge made me extra careful. If you find out you ARE immune, you will not have to worry.
