Response to hello nuni & anyone who remembers me |
| Wow - it's wonderful to hear from you! I'm looking at age 48 in April, but my cycles are still like clockwork so I can't give up until that is gone. I haven't had bloodwork for years so I may be hopeless, but how bad can it be if my cycles are still regular?
How wonderful that you have a new grandbaby! But I'm sad to hear about your daughter. I have a sister (42) who is schizophrenic since her teen years, and her situation is up and down. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer last April in Hawaii and we were told she had only months to live at most. She had seven chemo treatments and was remarkable improved, so we brought her to a renowned cancer clinic at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where they did a complete workup and determined that she DIDN'T have lung cancer, but rather had metastasized breast cancer. It is unbelievable! They tell us that she will probably live for years with treatment, and they have some patients who are still with them after ten years. I tell you - I am not a religious person, but this has really thrown me.....I am starting to think miracles are possible. So let's hang in there and just keep on trying!!
I think of you often and I've always wondered where your path had taken you.
Please keep in touch -
With love, Nuni
