After my ectopic, I had to have another hsg, and strangely, though it had been my left tube that the pregnancy implanted in, it was my right that now had some kind of blockage.
Now, as I said, mine was ectopic, but I do know that at my clinic, my RE does HSG after any pregnancy loss, just to be sure. They're covered by OHIP, here in Ontario. Sorry you will have to pay! What do they run??
But, and someone else may disagree, I do advise you to have it b/c you never know.
